It’s a common problem when the engine has run for too long, and there’s too much heat, and it’s known to many as vapor lock. 

When the temperatures get too high, it’s typical for the fuel in the lines to vaporize, causing the vapor motor to stop working. 

The remedy for 63 code is these 3 simple steps:

  1. Let the engine cool by turning it off and parking under shade. 
  2. Ensure the engine has cooled down and pour cold water over the fuel lines. 
  3. The cooldown takes a few minutes, and then the code disappears.

You can start the engine once you’re sure the engine is cool.

  • 32 – Refrigeration capacity is beyond lower levels and is red
  • 25 – Alternator needs checking and is yellow
